Our mission is to develop and deploy open, disaggregated, and standards-based technology solutions that foster high-quality connectivity across the globe. Founded in 2016, TIP has quickly grown into a vibrant community of hundreds of members spanning service providers, technology manufacturers, systems integrators, startups, and academia. Together, we are pioneering a new era of global communications around the world.
Our Approach
Our work is structured around specific Project Groups that focus on different aspects of the network — from core and access to transport, services, neutral host and telco AI. These groups provide the platform for our participants to collaborate on scalable solutions that advance the state of connectivity. By fostering an environment of open innovation, we enable quicker adaptation of new technologies that can offer choice in the market, and can dramatically reduce costs and extend the reach of global networks.
