The Telecom Infra Project (TIP) is pleased to announce the Board of Directors has appointed Kristian Toivo as Executive Director. Kristian joins TIP following a 30-year career at Ericsson and most recently from Atos IT Services (Atos’ TMT – Telco, Media and Technology – industry vertical), where he was a Global Client Executive. Kristian’s appointment will commence on 1 June 2022.
Yago Tenorio, TIP’s Chairman commented on the appointment: “We are very excited to welcome Kristian to TIP as the new Executive Director. Kristian has a wealth of engineering experience and internationally proven leadership skills that will be pivotal in building on TIP’s momentum.”
Kristian started his career at Ericsson, where he held a range of roles including as Managing Director and Head of Development Unit Core Networks, Head of R&D in Finland, and Head of Customer Unit for a key customer. He subsequently was Chief Executive Officer of Zenterio, which was acquired by Oregan Networks in 2019.
